Make us sick (homesick) photography competition

The competition is now closed – check out The Travelling Mallorys’ Photo Competition group on Flickr for the entries. We will announce the winner soon! Click here for the winner.

The Travelling Mallorys are running a competition for you to win some genuine Japanese goodies from Japan.

We’re having too much of a good time and we need your help to make us homesick enough to want to come back. Submit up to three photos to The Travelling Mallorys’ Photo Competition group on Flickr (if you’re not on Flickr you can e-mail your pictures to me by email) and if your image makes us feel the most homesick you’ll win some awesome Japanese goodies. Winners and notable entries will also appear on our blog. Fame at last!

Have a look at to find out what we’re like and to maximise your chances of winning the prize.

The closing date is 17th November 2010. That’s our wedding anniversary so we’ll be all happy when we judge it.

Any questions, just message me through Flickr (gavinflickr) or put a comment on this blog page and we’ll get back to you.

Let’s go to The Travelling Mallorys’ Photo Competition group on Flickr

Please note:
By entering the competition you agree to let us use the image on our travel blog if we like it. We’ll always credit you and link to you on Flickr. We’re not going to sell it or anything, it’s just a bit of fun.

  1. Now promoted on our Facebook & Twitter & coming out on our site tomorrow. Hope you get lots of entries. Have fun!

  2. Unfortunately, I’ve run out of space on Flickr and am too cheap to pay for more.

So, you can see a bunch of heart-achingly-homesick-making photos I have lovingly taken for you at a rival photo-sharing site instead:

    • Cheers T-Rod. Let me know your favourite three and I’ll enter them in the competition for you

  3. […] YOU – don’t forget about our photo competition to win genuine cool stuff from actual Japan. Enter, or […]
